On both days Khenpo Rinpoche will lead us in a Lama Chöpa practice with tsok. A tsok is a festival offering of food and drink. The word actually means gathering and refers to the four gatherings–the practitioners, the offerings themselves, all enlightened beings, and the accumulation of merit and wisdom. The offering is shared among all participants and the remainder is placed outside for the local spirits to enjoy.
Everyone is invited to participate whether you bring anything or not. If you wish to bring something, it needs to be easily picked up and eaten with the fingers. Grapes, nuts, cookies, candy, pieces of fruit, pieces of raw vegetables, and similar items are appropriate. Please share the tsok with us!
